IT’S CALLED “COUNTRY MILE,” AND I THINK ALL OF THE RECORDING IS FINALLY DONE NOW. El-Tayyab: SO, WHEN WE STARTED THE PROCESS, YOU KNOW, WE HAD A HANDFUL OF TUNES THAT WE WERE WORKING ON, YOU KNOW, THAT WE’VE BEEN WORKING ON, AND ABOUT A YEAR AGO, WE APPROACHED A PRODUCER NAMED LAURIE LEWIS, AND SHE’S A GRAMMY-WINNING PRODUCER IN THE BAY AREA. SHE’S ALSO A SINGER/SONGWRITER. WE GAVE HER A LIST OF SONGS THAT WE WERE THINKING ABOUT, AND SHE HELPED US KIND OF SHAPE THE LYRICS AND CRAFT THE SONGS A BIT MORE AND WORKED ON ARRANGEMENTS. ♪♪ Parkerson: I THINK THAT THERE’S MORE THAN ONE SONG ON THE ALBUM THAT’S ABOUT LOSS AND LOSS AND LOVE.
